Our School
Cross of Life Christian Montessori School is an integral part of the ministry of Cross of Life Lutheran Church. The purpose of the school is to provide Christian Montessori education in partnership with parents so that children may be nurtured in the Word and Will of God; and develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, appreciation and ideas that are essential for a lifetime of creative learning.

COLCMS was founded in 1994 as a ministry of Cross of Life Lutheran Church and began with seven students and one employee. In 2002 the school was expanded into the education building and now serves about 30 students from Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, John's Creek, East Cobb and Sandy Springs.
COLCMS offers not only an award winning learning environment to both toddler and primary children ages toddler through six years, but an unparalleled Montessori education.
Our school is located on thirteen wooded acres in Roswell with a school yard habitat certified by the National Wildlife Federation.

Our Mission
Cross of Life Christian Montessori School is an integral part of the ministry of Cross of Life Lutheran Church. The purpose of the school is to provide Christian Montessori education in partnership with parents so that children may be nurtured in the Word and Will of God so that:
- Children develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, appreciation and ideas that are essential for a lifetime of creative learning.
- Children are taught by certified Montessori teachers in the peaceful surrounding of the Montessori classroom
- Children feel the inner security in this well-ordered environment to develop the confidence to be an independent learner and have the freedom to be curious and discover.
- Children can build, success upon success, and develop a positive attitude toward school, a sense of community and habits of concentration and persistence.
- Children learn to recognize themselves as persons of worth and learn to understand and appreciate their talents and gifts from God. Though much has been said about the academic achievement of Montessori Students, the value lies in the self-discipline, self-mastery and love of learning that the children achieve.
- Children may be provided with this comprehensive program of education, so that they may develop their talents and skills for responsible Christian living and service.
